2024 marks the 50th anniversary of Erewash Borough Council, when Ilkeston and Long Eaton were brought together to form the new district.
Councillor James Dawson, Leader of Erewash Borough Council, spoke to Paul Stacey with reflections on the history and a look at events being held to mark the anniversary.
