Long Eaton Natural History Society is appealing for new members to help with conservation in the area, and efforts to prevent developments deemed to be detrimental to local interests.
The group keeps records of flora and fauna as well as retaining a record of knowledge of natural history. Meetings are held in the social activities annexe of Long Eaton Library, Broad Street, on Mondays, once a fortnight on Mondays starting at 7:15pm. To join, call Alan Heath on 0115 973 3766.
