
An investigation is continuing after an arson attack on new play equipment at West Park in Long Eaton.
A number of incidents of arson took place on Sunday 2nd February between 6:30pm and 6:45pm and again on Tuesday 4th February between 6:30pm and 7:00pm.
Park equipment has been damaged as a result of being set on fire. Although three suspects have been identified and are currently under investigation, Long Eaton Police Officers believe that those involved are between 14 and 15 years old, one female and four males.
Patrols on West Park have been increased as a result of the incidents.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was at West Park at this time who may have more information to help with their enquiries.
