Web help: borough council seeks public views ahead of website revamp

Erewash residents are being asked to give views to the borough council ahead of authority officials carrying out a revamp of its website.

The short survey - detailed as taking around five minutes to complete - will help the town hall to make its online hub more user-friendly.

The aim is for residents to detail what can be improved as the borough council looks at the site’s layout, design and content.

A statement said that all responses will be kept anonymous

It comes as the council also prepares to launch a regular newsletter. Residents are being invited to sign up to get it emailed to them.

The bulletin – called EBC News – is expected to go out at least monthly from September.

Erewash Borough Council Leader, Councillor James Dawson said: “We are keen to make our website as easy and accessible for residents to use as possible – which is why we are seeking input from those who actually use it.

"The survey takes barely any time at all to complete – so I urge everyone to spare a few moments to take part in it. The responses will form a vital part of our mission to provide an unbeatable service to residents.”
