Police officers in Ilkeston are appealing for witnesses to an alleged attempted abduction in the town, as a man charged with the offence is due to appear at court early next year.
The incident took place on 17th July 2024 between 7:40am and 8:00am on Little Hallam Hill, close to the entrance to the Nutbrook Trail.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident – as well as any drivers who may have dashcam footage that may have retained any footage from that time.
The man charged with the offence, who has not been publicly named and remains on remand in prison, is due to appear at trial on January 15th.
