Officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team have issued an appeal for help from the public in identifying a man after a debit card was stolen from a car in Sawley.
The incident took place overnight between 24th and 25th October in Roosevelt Avenue. One of the cards stolen was later used at the Wilsthorpe Road Service Station on the morning of the 25th October.
Police officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident, who was seen in the area when the card was used.
The man pictured was wearing what appeared to be a khaki coloured parker jacket with faux-fur hood lining, and a dark coloured baseball cap with a small motif on the front, and carrying a dark coloured rucksack on his back.
The theft is believed to be linked to five other incidents of cars being broken into in the Long Eaton area between 21st and 31st October 2022.
