Awareness of the Long Eaton Town Deal is set to rise as branded waste freighters hit the road.
On Wednesday 23rd November, four liveried waste freighters wrapped with publicity on the Long Eaton Town Deal projects were set to be launched. The vehicles were to be presented at a media event being held at West Park in Long Eaton at 12:30pm.
Richard Ledger, Chairman of the Long Eaton Town Deal Board and Councillor Carol Hart, Deputy Chair and Leader of Erewash Borough Council will give an official send-off for the vehicles in support of Long Eatons regeneration campaign.
The branded waste freighters will help to raise awareness of Long Eatons regeneration projects and encourage residents to get on board with the fantastic work being undertaken to transform Long Eaton town centre.
The Long Eaton Town Deal will see almost £25 million of Government funding go towards numerous projects which will benefit the town and community. More information can be found at www.longeatontowndeal.org
