A Long Eaton-based firm has declared its pride in signing a new corporate partnership agreement with NHS Charities Together.
KH Hair, which has its head-office in the town, is celebrating its centenary in 2020 and is well-known for its charitable ethos, having supported the NSPCC Childline for the past 10 years and raising over £60,000 for the charity.
Managing Director, Darren Messias said that the group chose the charity because never before has there been a time where it has been so apparent of the hard work the NHS does.
"There can be no doubting how hard our NHS workers have to toil, day in day out." he said. "I believe this is a fantastic, long-term opportunity to thank and support our NHS. At some point in all our lives, we or a loved one will have been helped by this tremendous service. We look forward to our teams getting involved in a variety of fundraisers and we know we can rely on our wonderful clients and business partners to support us so we can raise as much money as possible over the coming years."
Staff in the company have welcomed the news and "can't wait" to get back to work to begin to plan their fundraising activities which will include marathons, bike rides, parachute jumps, raffles and many more initiatives throughout the coming year.
"We have been very proud to support the NSPCC for the past 10 years." added Darren. "We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their support and wish them lots of luck for the future."
NHS Charities Together is a registered charity no. 1186569.
