Invest in Nottingham delivers outstanding support of the Nottinghamshire economy

Invest in Nottingham, the inward investment arm of Marketing Nottingham & Nottinghamshire, has reported an exceptional Return on Investment (ROI) of £139 for every £1 invested into the organisation during the 3 year period to March 2024.

A statement said that the achievement underscores a pivotal role of the team behind the organisation in driving economic growth and enhancing the region’s reputation as a prime location for business growth, industry relocation and innovation in the UK. 

Between 2021-24 the team has engaged over 500 businesses, with 44 projects being successfully delivered during that time. These projects have in turn brought 2,555 jobs which have a GVA uplift of £135m. Of these, 11 projects were delivered in FY 2023-2024, creating 133 jobs and safeguarding a further 1,432. 

As the official Place Marketing Organisation for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Marketing Nottingham & Nottinghamshire operates as a key enabler of inward investment. Invest in Nottingham works collaboratively with businesses and stakeholders across the UK to bring new opportunities to the area. The resulting economic benefits from these efforts reflect the high-impact outcomes delivered by the team. 

Megan Powell Vreeswijk, CEO of Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire including Invest in Nottingham, praised her team’s achievements and highlighted the importance of continued support for their work.
