Futures Housing Group is on the move

East-Midlands-based housing association, Futures Housing Group, has finally realised its long-term plan to relocate its main office to a new location more central to the East Midlands and mid-way between its two current main operating areas in Amber Valley, Derbyshire and Daventry, Northamptonshire.

The new office sits in the Pegasus Business Park alongside East Midlands airport with easy access to major transport routes.  Rather than a traditional headquarters for 9 to 5 working, it will act as a hub for meetings and collaborative work and will provide a flexible working base for staff from throughout the organisation.  Alongside Futures House, 'touchdown points' out in the community provide working space for staff with frontline customer-facing roles.

"Our vision has long been to be an agile organisation supporting our colleagues to work flexibly from the best location for whatever they need to do," said Group Chief Executive, Lindsey Williams. "The opening of Futures House is one of the final pieces in the jigsaw to make this hybrid working approach a reality. It also gives us a base right in the heart of the region to help develop our work and the new partnerships we need to do even more to help those in need of an affordable home."

Employees from across Futures attended a soft-launch of the new building on Friday 29 October and the new premises will fully open from Monday 15th November.  Visits to Futures House are by appointment only.
