The Member of Parliament for the Erewash constituency is urging local voluntary and community groups who are seeking funding opportunities to get in touch and claim their copy of her Community Funding Guide.
In a statement, Maggie Throup OBE said that she is always on the lookout for ways in which she can support Erewash community and voluntary organisations turn their dreams into a reality.
After successfully helping a number of local organisations identify funding opportunities, she has now created a Community Funding Guide to equip community groups with the tools they need to navigate the often-complex landscape of funding streams.
Maggie said: “I know how important community and voluntary organisations are in making Erewash a fantastic place to live.
“I am always on the lookout for ways in which I can support these fantastic groups and over the years I have helped many organisations identify funding to turn their dreams into a reality.
“That's why I'm excited to announce the launch of my new Community Funding Guide, designed to help organisations tap into available funding opportunities. Whether it’s a Scout group trying to rebuild their hut, sport facilities needing to be upgraded or a local group facing closure, I am urging community and voluntary groups to get in touch and receive my free Community Funding Guide.”
The Community Funding Guide provides a wealth of information on available funding streams, application processes, and tips for successful fundraising.
Local community and voluntary organisations can receive their free copy of Maggie’s Community Funding Guide by emailing maggie.throup.mp @ parliament.uk or by filling out a form on Maggie’s website.
