Double success for DCG at National Land-Based and Environment Learner Awards

Derby College Group (DCG) celebrated a remarkable achievement as two of its students secured first place at the annual Land-based and Environment Learner (LBEL) Awards.

The award event was recently held at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham. It was a night of celebration and achievement as Further Education, Higher Education, and Apprenticeship students were honoured at a prestigious awards ceremony hosted by Lantra. Out of the nearly 200 exceptional candidates put forward, five talented students and apprentices from Derby College Group were shortlisted as finalists, with two taking home top accolades.

The awards were presented by Danny Clarke, famously known as The Black Gardener. The event was an evening of celebration, industry insight, and inspiration. Talks from leading professionals provided valuable perspectives, culminating in the much-anticipated awards ceremony.
