Derbyshire County Council is making it even easier to pick up Covid 19 test kits as it makes them available in libraries and mobile library vans.
One in three people with Covid-19 have no symptoms which means you could be spreading the virus to other, more vulnerable people, without realising it but regular testing helps prevent the spread of the virus.
The Lateral Flow test kits that are now available to pick up in libraries are for people with no symptoms. Erewash has libraries in both market towns as well as in Borrowash and Sandiacre.
You can also get test kits from pharmacies, through home ordering or from one of County Council mobile testing vans.

Derbyshire County Councils Cabinet Member for Health and Communities, Councillor Carol Hart said: Vaccinations are vital in helping to reduce the impacts of Covid 19 but anything we can do to help prevent the spread of the virus is still key.
Thats why were encouraging everyone to carry on testing themselves, and their families, in order to reduce the spread further.
Test kits are available to pick up in all 45 Derbyshire County Council libraries and two mobile library vans.
Rapid lateral flow tests help to find cases in people who may have no symptoms but are still infectious and can give the virus to others.
The test involves taking a sample from your tonsils (or where they would have been) and from your nose, using a swab. You can get a result in 30 minutes.
