CCTV images published after Ilkeston supermarket theft

Can you help identify this man?

Police Officers from the Ilkeston Safer Neighbourhood Team are investigating incidents relating to shop theft from ASDA, Heanor Road, Ilkeston on the 5th January at around 6:30pm.

Despite the quality of the image not being ideal, they have published it in the hope that someone may be able to assist with enquiries due to the type of clothing being worn.

The image shows him wearing dark coloured trainers with white soles, a black padded jacket with light coloured faux-fur hood, dark trousers, a light blue hoodie with a white logo on the front, and what appears to be a black beanie hat or balaclava style hat.

Anyone who recognises the man from description or the photograph on our website is being asked to contact Police officers quoting reference 25*8501.

You can also anonymously contact the independent charity CrimeStoppers, on 0800 555 111, or by visiting the CrimeStoppers website.
