The Breaston May Day Gala will be held on Monday 6th May from 11am to 4pm. Expect a packed day of events with lots of stalls and, weather permitting, a fly past from two Spitfires from the Lincolnshire-based Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Donations on the gate of £1 per person please for everyone aged over 12.

Excavations by Forestry England in partnership with Time Team, have revealed new information about the Farley Moor standing stone in Farley Wood near Matlock.
