It is back for 2024 - the Long Eaton Carnival Weekend is to be held over the course of Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June on West Park, Long Eaton including a fairground, the carnival staged on Saturday itself and a car boot sale on the Sunday.
The Carnival comprises of a Road Parade through the town, followed by many different displays & events. The Parade sets of at 11am, and arrives back on the Carnival site somewhere between 12:30pm and 1:00pm. This is when the Carnival officially starts and the best bit is that it is FREE.
The Long Eaton Community Carnival Association is a group of volunteers who stage the Long Eaton Community Carnival each year. The primary objective of the association is to involve all sections of the community in engendering community spirit by organising an annual Carnival and associated events (according to the association’s constitution).
