From Monday 22nd April, up to 250 households in Derby will be able to book a free bulky waste collection for up to three items on a first come, first serve basis. The free collections are the realisation of a key manifesto pledge made by the administration with the free collections being approved in November 2023.

A new DIY superstore is to be officially opened by the Mayor of Erewash - just in time for Easter – spelling joy for DIY fans eager to get a few jobs done over the holiday period.

Free parking for an hour is to be trialled by Erewash Borough Council at two of its town centre car parks.
